Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the EFF for?

The EFF welcomes all women, including all people who identify as women, women of diverse backgrounds, women of diverse genders and sexes, women of diverse sexualities, women of diverse cultures, beliefs and religions, and women of different abilities.

Do I have to go to all the workshops?

You don’t have to go to all the workshops; you are encouraged to participate in the ones that resonate with you. Give yourself space any time you feel you need to in the dedicated silence and rest area.

Can men and children participate?

The day event and workshops are for women only. Men (and children under supervision) are warmly invited to join the evening program and celebration. Evening tickets can be purchased online.

Why aren’t men allowed during the day?

Women’s only events have been common practices in numerous ancient culture and society since the beginning of time. Some topics and experiences are intrinsically unique to women’s bodies, hearts and minds. With this in mind and heart, the EFF offers sessions in which most of the content relates specifically to women. In order to create a space where women can explore that comfortably, it feels appropriate to offer a women’s only event during the day. Men and children are warmly invited in the evening program.
There are also existing male only events such as Menergy, Manshine and Tribal man.
Please note however, that throughout the festival, we will have a couple of male on site to ensure there are no issues relating to infrastructure, security or power.

How do I choose my workshops?

Be guided by what you feel most drawn to, listen to your heart and trust your gut feeling – the workshops you choose will be the perfect ones for you.

Do I need to book each workshop?

All the sessions are included in your WHOLE DAY ticket ( day time workshops + evening event), so there’s no need to book for each session.

To respect the participants and teachers of each session doors will close 5 minutes after the start. Thank you for joining on time.

Can I join the opening ceremony?
